Pbs Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Worker to join our team for a Monday to Friday schedule. The PBS Worker will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals who are on vocational and/or independence programmes.

**Duties**:

- Create and provide sessions and opportunities for development
- Work with team and external professionals to support behaviour management
- Drive, walk or use public transport to teach and escort individuals to activities and outings
- To find innovative ways to develop personal and social skills

Qualifications:
**Required Skills**:

- Experience in Positive Behaviour Support
- To be robust and resilient, while being creative and compassionate
- Ability to be patient, kind and empathetic
- Experience of supporting individuals with behaviour of distress, including physical
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques
- Experience in care or SEND setting

Preferred Skills:

- Valid driving license preferred, but not essential
- Additional training in behaviour management strategies
- Qualification in Adult Social Care

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.05 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 35 per week
