**Our exciting opportunity**
In this role, as Bordereaux Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting in back-office support for claims fund reconciliations. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth day to day finance tasks.
**Responsibilities**
- Reporting to our Finance Lead, you will provide back-office support for the provision of claims fund reconciliations, validating claims bordereaux’s and collaborating with the underwriting team within JRP and ERGO.
- Working within MPL Claims Management, you will be surrounded by a supportive team offering full training and development.
- Deliver high-quality, timely billing and administrative support, while managing clients’ portfolios and bordereaux.
- Daily & monthly duties include brokerage receivables, post booking receipt, payment of funds, transactional process steps & ad hoc reporting requests.
- Collaborate with brands to build close working relationships with cover holders, brokers & clients.
- Dealing with client enquiries across several inboxes.
- Inputting data in line with internal & external regulatory requirements.
**Your skills and experience**
- Working knowledge Excel.
- Ability to work accurately with good numerical skills.
- Experience in multitasking with good attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, written and oral.
- A-level in Maths or equivalent.
**What next?**
The interview process for this position includes two stages. The first stage is an initial screening call, which will be conducted by a member of the Talent Acquisition team. During this call, you can expect to be asked about your experience and qualifications, as well as your interest in the position.
If you are successful in passing the initial screening call, you will progress to the second stage of the interview process, which is an in-person interview with two members of the Finance team. This interview will be more in-depth and may involve more technical questions about your previous experience and transferable skills so we can assess the suitability for the requirements of the role.
**Background checks**
To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS, Credit and References check.
