We have an exciting opportunity for aspiring or existing Teaching Assistants to join the pupil support team within our primary school in Portsmouth. This role involves working with children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing support to teachers and helping students of all abilities to reach their full potential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 3.30pm. This allows for a healthy work-life balance and allows you to make a difference in the lives of our students, whilst still having time for your personal needs.

**Main Responsibilities of this role include**:

- Providing support to the classroom teacher, including preparing resources and materials for lessons.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback.
- Assisting with classroom management, including behaviour management, and promoting positive social interaction.
- Supporting students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and deliver effective lessons and activities.
