**Role**
Our client, who is a leading facilities management company, is now looking for an experienced Cleaner to join their team on a permanent basis.

The hourly rate for this role is £10.90, with a pay increase scheduled for April.

**Hours and days**:
Monday - Friday: 17:00 - 21:00

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Follow set tasks and schedules outlined by the company, adhering to Health and Safety and COSHH requirements.
- Provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site, with a focus on high-touch point areas.
- Complete daily tasks as per the provided task card.
- Promote Health and Safety within the team, raising awareness among all staff regarding appropriate regulations.
- Report any defects or issues, such as maintenance problems, to the relevant staff members.
- Maintain stocks and request shortages to the day team.
- Ensure the effective and economical use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Guarantee adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available to staff as required.
- Take delivery of cleaning products/equipment and relocate them to the relevant storage areas.
- Stay informed about developments in cleaning equipment and materials to improve service quality.
- Replenish hygiene materials daily.
- Carry out all reasonable requests from your line manager.

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH requirements.
- Ability to follow schedules and task cards efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Proactive approach to identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
- Capacity to manage cleaning materials and equipment effectively.
