**Description**
- The Product Owner will take responsibility of the delivery of product from the specification of requirements prepared in collaboration with product and business SMEs, to the implementation and rollout of the new or revised products/services, throughout their lifecycle. This person takes the role in Scrum accountable for maximizing the value of a product, primarily by incrementally managing and expressing business and functional expectations for a product to the Development Team(s).

**Key Responsibilities**
- The product owner is responsible for the agile development of features related to the business services assigned to the individual.
- Defining the requirements in collaboration with relevant business SMEs, commercial product leaders, customers, and other relevant stakeholders
- Collaborating with technical teams and managing creation of relevant technical artefacts required for technical and information design and architecture
- Preparing all related documentation for review by the development team, driving and supporting the development team throughout build, supporting QA with hands-on testing and definition of test cases
- Managing the features through to release, and providing post-release support and training to both internal and external users of the feature
- Documenting and managing any future development or bug-fixing associated with the features

**Qualifications**
- Experienced Product Owner, Project Management, or Product Manager role preferred
Experienced with supply chain software and supplier management - highly desirable
Successful track record of managing a software or data product
Experience with VSTS or similar highly desirable
Relevant degree preferred, eg Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or related analytical field

Identifies potential risks and obstacles to delivery, managing these appropriately

Reprioritises own work or the work of the team in response to external pressures
Is flexible in their approach; adapts their working style to suit the needs of the situation
Is willing to stretch themselves outside of their comfort zone to learn new things
Engages in a range of learning experiences (e.g., mentoring, coaching, reading, research, job shadowing etc) in order to broaden their abilities.
Actively seeks opportunities to develop skills which are outside their current remit
