Brief explanation of the job

Chain to Chain represent a pet’s charity that take in lost, abandoned, critical and homeless pets in need and provide the care they need to bring them back to full heath and find them forever homes.

We are currently looking for confident, passionate, and keen individuals to join a team of experienced face to face fundraisers on behalf of a charity dedicated to helping pets in need.

While you will be joining a team of experienced fundraisers it is not a requirement for you to be experienced as we will provide the necessary training for you to excel. All we ask is that you are polite, friendly, and approachable as well as confident and energetic in order to inspire individuals to make donations.

- Role Community and Events Fundraiser
- Full-time pay £19,110 per annum + commission (performance-based banding)
- Part-time pay 10.50 per hour + commission (performance-based banding)
- Full-time 5 days a week 10am - 6pm (part-time hours flexible)

What you will be doing on a daily basis:

- As a fundraiser you will be interacting with members of the public either at venues or door to door at various locations in London, Greater London and Surrey
- You will inspire them to donate to charities through a regular donation on a long-term basis
- Door to door fundraising can be made available locally or at a desired area closer to you

What we ask of you:

- Excellent communication skills and well-spoken English
- Empower individuals to make an ongoing and regular donation to charities
- Enthusiastic, polite, and personable with the ability to build rapport with members of the public and generate conversation
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals
- Organisation and punctuality
- No experience required, although previous fundraising, customer service or sales experience is highly desired
