**Summary**

The role of the Driver is to support all the motorbike businesses by moving bikes between businesses and providing a high standard of service to customers when collecting and delivering bikes. To ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines helping the retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency

**The role will be responsible for**:

- Ensure that very high degree of care is taken when loading, unloading and transporting bikes.
- Take optimum care of all customer belongings in the vehicle.
- Deliver and collect customer vehicles in an efficient and timely manner using the most direct route.
- When delivering bikes to customer, you are an extension of the business so it’s vital that you deliver a smooth and professional handover, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and returned to the business.
- Maintain a good relationship with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations.
- Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and bring any customer complaints to the attention of Aftersales/Sales Manager.
- Note any damage on vehicles being collected and bring this to the attention of the customer and Aftersales/Sales Manager.
- Write clearly and legibly, documenting items accurately.
- Check and confirm job card details, update Aftersales/Sales Manager with anomalies and add additional items/requirements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety and company policy and procedures.
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times and report any accidents/alleged offences to Aftersales/Sales Manager immediately.
- Ensure company vehicles are in a roadworthy condition, paying particular attention to tyres and fluid levels and alert Aftersales Manager when a scheduled service is required.
- Operate within the law at all times.

**Experience**
- Experience in a customer facing role.
