What will you be doing as a Bartender?

**Mixology**
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, and wines.
- Showcase creativity in crafting signature drinks and staying updated on industry trends.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide friendly and attentive customer service at the bar.
- Interact with guests, take drink orders, and make recommendations based on preferences.

**Order Management**:

- Efficiently manage drink orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
- Keep track of customer tabs, process payments accurately, and provide change.

**Bar Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools.
- Regularly restock bar supplies and notify management of low inventory.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Verify the legal drinking age of customers and ensure responsible alcohol service.

**Product Knowledge**:

- Stay informed about the restaurant's beverage offerings, including specials and promotions.
- Provide information about different types of drinks, ingredients, and brewing/distillation processes.

**Upselling and Promotion**:

- Encourage guests to try new beverages or promotions.
- Effectively upsell premium or specialty drinks when appropriate.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and work collaboratively to enhance overall guest experience.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Address customer concerns or complaints related to beverages promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with management to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

**Cleanliness and Presentation**:

- Ensure bar area is visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Pay attention to drink presentation, garnishes, and overall aesthetic appeal.

**Training and Development**:

- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance mixology and service skills.
- Mentor new or less experienced staff members when needed.

**Multitasking**:

- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and managing cash transactions.

**Cash Handling**:

- Handle cash transactions accurately, provide change, and process credit card payments.
- Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.

**Adaptability**:

- Adapt to varying customer volumes and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
