Mechanical Engineer

Our client is looking for a **Mechanical Engineer** (Production) to join their well-established production facility based in **Newquay**. With over 100 years of experience, our client leads the way in Manufacturing and Engineering expertise. **Salary**: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum + bonus (depending on experience)

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, 07:45 - 16:15, Monday to Friday

**Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the purpose of the role will be to**:

- Provide preventative & reactive mechanical maintenance
- Work with company CMMS
- Maintain mechanical maintenance PM’s & schedule
- Work with the Engineering Manager to ensure activities comply with relevant standards and legislation
- Support Capital projects and installation work
- Previous experience within a mechanical engineering role
- Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry
- Formal mechanical engineering qualifications (Minimum City & Guilds or equivalent)
