**The Role/Person**The role of Payroll Associate will report into the Payroll Manager. You will be working as part of a small team, processing the end-to-end payroll for circa 1700 employees. Moreover, you will have the chance to be part of ad hoc projects such as integrationsand process improvement.
The successful individual will ideally have a minimum of 1 year payroll experience. Moreover, you must demonstrate some understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payroll requirements.
If you have finance experience and an enthusiasm for learning more about payroll, you will also be considered.
You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

- Reporting to and deputising for the Payroll Manager
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payrolls
- Assisting with payroll legislation - RTI, auto enrolment, PAYE, SSP, holiday pay, pensions etc.
- Maintaining the company database including processing starters and leavers
- Dealing with internal queries and questions from employees on payroll related matters
- Ability to liaise with external partners - HMRC, DWP etc.
- Periodic and adhoc reporting
- Adhoc duties

**On Offer**The role of Payroll Associate is offering a salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum with additional benefits (available on request). The office is based in Musselburgh with parking available on site.
