**Payroll Administrator**

**Salary 20-24k DOE**

**Location - Preston**

We are currently supporting our Lancashire based client to recruit an experienced **Payroll Administrator** into their payroll team to support the existing payroll service within the public sector, a real team player who will provide administrative support to the payroll function ensuring that key financial process operate efficientlyand that financial controls are maintained. The **Payroll Administrators** role will involve completing the full end to end payroll process and all year-end activities, accurately and in a timely manner.We are looking for a**Payroll Administrator**who can add value to this role

**Responsibilities**:

- End to end payroll as part of a team using payroll software
- Checking entry of expenses
- Provide administration support to key financial processes
- With high attention to detail, maintain sales /financial records and files
- Plan and priorities work loads
- Processing weekly & monthly.
- Confident communication with staff and external agencies
- Year-end processes including the preparation of P11D's and HMRC submissions.
- Providing a first-class service supporting team colleagues and department

**Requirements**:

- Payroll software
- Experienced end to end payroll.
- Excellent communicator.
- Payroll experience, including all year-end activities.
- Experience of working with local authority would be an advantage.
- Full time.

**Education**

Experience in the use of Payroll Software

Attainment of NVQ Level 2 or technical qualification in Finance or Business (desirable)
