Night Porter

**Location**: Longmynd House, Cunnery Road, Church Stretton, Shropshire, SY6 6AG

**Contract**: 30+ Hours per week

**Hourly rate**: £11.00

**Shifts**: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday - 22.30pm - 7.00am

**Job brief**:
The role of the Night Porter is to ensure the property and our guests are safe and secure through the night. Dealing with any enquires or situations in a courteous manner. You will also be required to help with cleaning responsibilities and preparing packed lunches for our guests. Ensuring that HF Holiday policies and procedures are followed at all times.

**The Role**:

- Dealing with guest requests through the night
- Maintaining security of the building and our guests
- Occasional servicing of drinks on the bar
- Public area cleaning
- Making picnic’s, sandwiches and picnic bags
- Setting up the dining room for breakfast
- Taking care of inhouse laundry

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar role - in a busy hotel or guest house
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great work ethic
- A mature and flexible approach and positive attitude
- Ability to work on there own and take ownership of there work
