Trainee Warehouse

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Warehouse & Production Operative with a reliable work ethic and willingness to learn in addition to a ‘can do’ attitude to join our small, friendly and efficient team.

**The role**

You will learn on the job, including forklift truck & banksman training and certification will also be provided.

As a Trainee Warehouse & Production Operative, you will be taught how to:

- Pick and pack orders with accuracy, preparing for dispatch
- Receiving, checking and storing of received goods
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Use of manual handling equipment, including a forklift truck
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times, this includes the yard and surrounding areas
- Work from procedures and technical drawings
- Conduct basic inspection of finished products
- Use test equipment to ensure units function as expected
- Basic electrical wiring and installation
- 3D printing and modelling

**About you**:
Previous experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and the ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently and to a high standard is vital. You must also be able to manage your own workload and work to a deadline.

Additionally, the successful Trainee Warehouse & Production Operative will:

- Remain focussed with a methodical and organised approach to work
- Have previous experience with computers
- Have their own transport or live locally
- Ability to work within a small team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Feel confident in using hand tools and power tools

The position:
Permanent full-time role, 39 hours a week

Hours: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-15:30 Friday

Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

**Salary**: £24,336 plus cash healthcare plan

No Weekend Work
