**Role Outline**
The University of Manchester Research Institute (UMRI) takes lead responsibility for nurturing the emergence of new cross-cutting themes and networks. Two projects are supported by a recent pump-priming call to encourage collaboration and interdisciplinary research. The first project aims to co-design a project investigating the interactive effects of air pollution and deprivation on children’s cognitive function’. The second project aims to investigate return to work with Long Covid in high-risk populations. The project teams across these two projects will carry out a range of research activities, including qualitative and quantitative data collection.
In collaboration with colleagues within the project teams at the University of Manchester, we have an exciting post to support these novel and interdisciplinary research projects. The post-holder will undertake, assist and support development of research methodologies, data collection and literature reviews.
In addition, the post-holder will support departmental activities.
**What You’ll Need**
A post-graduate degree in Public Health, Occupational Health or other relevant health sciences discipline. Experience of working in multidisciplinary research in public health, occupational and/or environmental health area and experience in literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative methods in these specialist areas.
