**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate food creatives developing new products for the Meat Coating systems.

In this role you will be working as part of the Retail Coating Team supporting the European Retail Coating business and be based from our offices in Gainsborough.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Manage projects from ideation and bench development, through to scale-up and launch
- Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the coating products portfolio
- Support Business Units teams on key projects
- Work in line with business strategies to help deliver ambitious growth targets
- Develop processing expertise to support customers in achieving the best possible product and possess the ability to problem solve and work through processing issues
- Key R,D&A contact for UK Coatings Production sites and provide technical support and collaborate with Site/Central teams to improve efficiency through recipe and process optimizations

**What do I need to be successful?**:
In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in an industrial or research role.

**These include**:

- BSc in Food Science / Technology or related field
- Previous experience in Meat Coating industry and process knowledge of Bread processing, Extrusion (crumbs/snacks) and Flours milling.
- Laboratory experience is an advantage
- Teamwork is essential, the role requires excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to share learnings, manage timelines & feedback results
- You should demonstrate an ability to work cross-functionally and inter-departmentally
- You should be adept at prioritising your work, juggling priorities and managing a variety of projects/briefs
- You should possess good organisational and PC skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel)
- Availability to travel to customers and production sites in the UK and Europe
