Handyman

Havencourt Care Home is looking to recruit a Handyman.

You will support the maintenance team to ensure the building and equipment is maintained to a high standard, whilst keeping our residents and staff safe and comfortable.
- Part of your role will be to transport our residents between the care home and their appointments / day trips, so a full _**_UK Drivers License_**_ is required for this position._

**Handyman Contract**

13.00 per hour

Contracted between 30-40 hours per week

5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)

**Your Main Duties Will Include**

Perform minor repairs

Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues

Install appliances and equipment

Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.

Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs

Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment

Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)

Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces

Participate in different projects (e.g. renovations)

Report into Maintenance Manager for issues

Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
