An exciting opportunity has arisen for a perm Assistant Grounds Maintenance person for our client based in Loughborough. Our Client prides themselves in looking after their grounds and this is a fantastic opportunity for the role of an Assistant Grounds Maintenance person paying £21,673.60 per annum.

**About the role**:
As an Assistant Grounds Maintenance person, you will be responsible for the:

- Maintenance of the grounds which will include cutting and mowing the grass, border maintenance, strimming, etc
- Advising on horticulture and gardening requirements
- General ad hoc jobs around the campus

**About You**:

- You need to be happy working outdoors
- You need to have a good background in gardening
- You need to have experience and be confident
- You will be working on your own most of the time so need to be able to prioritise your workload.

**The details**:

- Minimum core hours per week are 40
- Monday to Friday
- Perm position

**Experience**:

- Previous ground maintenance and gardening experience
- Experience in using powered equipment and maintenance of equipment
- Health & safety knowledge
- PA1 & PA6 spraying licenses would be preferred
- Garden or Horticultural qualifications
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Willing to work in all weathers
- Be able to work as part of a team

**Pay Rate**:

- £21,673.60 per annum
