An excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation in a varied and fulfilling cleaning supervisor role within a friendly Housekeeping team who provide integral domestic services to the College. Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Supervising allocated Domestic Assistant teams to ensure delivery of timely and efficient Housekeeping services through day-to-day direction, motivation and support;
- Induction for new staff members plus ongoing job-related staff training;
- Undertaking daily inspections, to ensure rooms are kept clean to a high standard;
- Liaising with students and ensuring they observe the accommodation rules and regulations.

To be considered for this interesting and varied role, you will need to bring:

- Substantial experience in a Housekeeping service within a hospitality environment;
- A positive track record of supervising staff and problem solving;
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a Housekeeping function;
- Sound basic administration skills.
- Good prioritisation skills, able to anticipate and respond to last minute changes

**Details of the role**
The post of Cleaning Supervisor is a permanent part-time role, responsible for the day
- to-day supervision of the Domestic Assistant team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are kept across all areas of the College.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday starting at 9.30 am, although there is potential for a degree of flexibility on start/finish times. Part time hours, 20 hours per week. The salary is based on an hourly rate £11.80 per hour (step 27 on the College Salary Scale). Some weekend attendance with prior notice will also be required. Uniform will be provided.
