Sandvik IT Services UK is an entity within the Sandvik family of companies working in a multifunctional environment across Sandvik UK entities and global services. We are looking for you to join us as an IT Services Coordinator to work within our IT team as part of a dedicated IT support function for our business’.

Whilst a significant amount of time will be dedicated to providing support for UK based sites which are part of the Sandvik family, you will also be involved in the support of many projects and initiatives both within the UK and with international colleagues.

The location for this position is based from our Halesowen office. There will be the occasional requirement to travel to other UK sites on an ad-hoc basis.

Job Summary

As an IT Support Coordinator, your typical duties will include, but not limited to:

- Coordinate IT support, activities and projects for all UK businesses.
- Work closely with business customers and facilitate their business IT demands.
- Deliver IT support across a variety of platforms and infrastructure.
- Manage process implementation and improvement.
- ‘PC Build and Delivery’ to end users.
- IT Asset and Hardware Management.
- Order Management and processing of order through a web portal.
- External vendor support.
- Support end user adoption of the Office 365 platform and promote O365 features, new releases (such as Teams Rooms) and changes through various communication channels.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to report hardware faults and arrange repair where required.
- Deployment of Windows 11.
- Support with Identity & Access Management.
- Attention to detail in documenting and auditing.

**Profile**:

- To demonstrate capabilities in providing IT assistance and support to employees & team colleagues.
- Able to analyse, understand and resolve non standard issues and requests for business IT solutions.
- Demonstrate strong coordination skills.
- Proven project management skills are preferred.
- To make adjustments to working methods and independently develop solutions.
- Explain practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the role.
- Strong O365 knowledge is required, this includes SharePoint, Teams.
- Strong Process Management skills.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and 11.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience IT experience in various support and coordination roles.
- Communicate well with people of all technical abilities and levels throughout the company.
- Confident and empathetic manner.
- Knowledge of PowerBI and Power Automate would be advantageous.

With our customers’ needs at the forefront of our objectives, you will have at least five years’ business experience in IT support services. You will have experience from working within IT infrastructure services and a good understanding of business needs and processes, as well as the ability to proactively build relationships with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites. You must have developed specialised skills or multi-skills developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. You must be able to complete a variety of atypical assignments, as needed, work within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments with a flexible mindset.

Additionally, you will have an understanding and previous experience of handling challenging demands in a fast-paced environment.
