**DUTIES**

To be designated to take charge of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager with continuing responsibility throughout the 24 hour day for the assessment and care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

To provide a high standard of individual service, allowing Service Users’ quality of life to be maximised in a caring, supportive, friendly and safe environment.To carry out policies and procedures within the Home.

To maintain the required standards for staff development, training and supervision.

To conduct care and management in such a way so as not to bring the Home or its Service Users into disrepute.

To ensure that your Service Users care plans are kept up to date and that all reviews and evaluations are completed on time as required.

To ensure that all care given to Service Users is documented appropriately in their individual care plane on a daily basis.

To prepare and give reports to other members of staff.

To be responsible for communication and liaison with each Service Users GP and other Health Care Professionals, appraising them of the Service Users condition when on duty and to report any changes to Home Manager.

To ensure Service Users and their families are kept informed of the Service Users condition, with the Service Users permission, and to encourage families to be involved with the Service Users life and promote good relationships.

To promote continuity of care by close interaction with all staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.51 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week

- Supervising experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Senior care: 2 years (preferred)
