Caterkwik Ltd are looking for Fabricators / Welders to join our growing team.

**Duties will include**:

- Perform general fabrication and Tig welding of various forms of square hollow section stainless steel fabrications.
- Perform Welding of folded metals prior to them being polished.
- Perform Tig Welding of thickness from 0.9mm to 2mm stainless steel.
- Use of a wide range of fabrication machinery including CNC.
- Using jigs to fabricate parts.
- Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and works order instruction.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.

**The Person**
- Competent TIG Welder.
- Experience working with stainless steel.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Flexible attitude to overtime when required.
- The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential.
- Must have the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston Factory (7:00am - 3:30pm 5 days a week)**

We also offer apprentice opportunities with a 1 day per week college attendance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£15.00 per hour dependant on experience
