Dog Groomer

We are looking for a reliable, friendly dog groomer who is motivated to join our team. We are located in a small seaside town called Maryport in Cumbria, 20 miles from Keswick in the Lake District.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a dog grooming environment, on their own and as part of a small team.

The role requires
- Experience in working within a grooming environment, and ideally, you'll have experience in a similar, fast-paced environment where you've taken a hands-on approach.
- Competent in completing a groom from start to finish on most breeds to a high standard (please note that grooming your own pet does not qualify as a professional experience)
- Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high standards
- A great team player who has a real passion for pets.
- you will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming from bathing to final style while delivering the very highest standard of grooming and finish..
- You will need a friendly approachable manner in order to interact positively with all our customers face to face.
- You will be dealing with customers and their pets on a daily basis and so excellent communication skills are needed.
- We have an excellent salon presentation and it is expected to be maintained with high cleanliness and safety in mind at all times.
- You will be required to work Tuesday to Saturday 9am until 5pm every week.

Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications. A portfolio of evidence of grooming is required.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
