**Trainee Lab Technician, £10.50/hr DOE, Poole**
**Overview**
As a **Trainee Lab Technician** you will play an essential role in ensuring thefacility is kept performing to its optimum levels. You'll be joining a **well-established** local business as a **Trainee Lab Technician**, with the opportunity to learn chemical processes and progress within the company.
**The Job**
As a **Trainee Lab Technician**you will:
- Take **daily samples from equipment** across the site to ensure things are working within the required parameters
- Work closely with the **production departments** to ensure that fluctuations are identified and managed accordingly
- Undertake **chemical analysis** to monitor and maintain **process chemistry**:
- Completion of relevant paperwork to ensure there is always **complete traceability**:
- Manual loading of the **specific chemicals** into the production area (15kg - 20kg)
- **Managing stock levels** of the consumables required
- Be involved with training personnel in handling & use of chemicals and equipment
**Background**
As a **Trainee Lab Technician** you will have:
- A keen interest and understanding in **Chemistry,**perhaps from having studied it at school or interest from previous experience
- Previous experience of working within a **production** environment or within an **industrial plating environment**would be an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work to achieve results
