**About the role**

The position will manufacture finished products to meet production schedules in accordance with specified formulations/process instructions. The position will also complete final product testing in line with agreed quality assurance standards, whilst maintaining high standards of responsible care, quality and cost effectiveness.

**Key responsibilities**

Maintain a high standard of responsible care and housekeeping, consistent with all company and legislative requirements (e.g., COSHH, HSE, IPPC).

Follow procedures as specified in the Standard Operating Procedure manuals (SOP).

Manufacture finished products to meet production schedules.

Complete all specified in-process and final product testing in line with agreed quality assurance standards.

Ensure data is promptly and accurately recorded and followed up in a timely manner where necessary.

Work with other shifts and departments to meet production schedules.

Assist the team leader in the training of new employees.

**About you**

**Shift Pattern**

The shift pattern for this position will rotate between the following, covering a 32 hour week:
Friday 6.00pm - 6.00am, Saturday 6.00pm - 6.00am and Sunday 06.00pm - 02.00am

Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm, Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm and Monday 6:00am - 2:00pm

**Salary & benefits**:The salary for the position will be £17,287.40 + Shift Allowance of £12,584.26. In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus). Our Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Pay bonus scheme reinforces the Scott Bader principle of working together for a common goal and sharing in our successes.

**Pension**:We offer a generous contribution to your pension and dependant on your monthly commitment, we will contribute up to a maximum of 2x your contribution up to a maximum of 10%.

**Holiday**:Your annual leave will be 152.5 hours + Bank Holidays. There is also the opportunity to purchase additional holiday days in case you need a couple of extra days.

If you are thinking about fundraising for your favourite charity or local community event, we will happily match the funds that you have raised up to a maximum of £1000 in any one year.
