**OVERVIEW**

**The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) model was mobilised in 2019 with the purpose of transforming major project delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site.**

**The partnership brings together KBR, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Altrad Babcock and Sellafield Ltd to deliver a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects to support the decommissioning of Sellafield and to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.**

**In delivering its pipeline of large-scale infrastructure projects, PPP is creating opportunities for its people, supply chain, economy and communities.**

**KBR’s rapidly growing nuclear team of teams is working at the forefront of the UK’s nuclear space on some of the most exciting new-build, defence and decommissioning programmes.**

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS**

Qualifications - Educational:
Essential: Technical Honours Degree, or equivalent

Qualifications - Professional Essential: Incorporated Engineer or equivalent

Certification in Testing Methodology e.g. ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and/or CSTP (Certified Software Test Professional)

Desirable: Chartered Engineer or equivalent

Experience and Skills:
Essential:

- Proven experience as a Tester with minimum of 2/4 years in software testing, with a strong focus on the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies like V Model methodology, Agile, Hybrid, including manual and automated testing techniques like SCRUM, Kanban, DevOps.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, HPALM or similar.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Support the engagement-with and contribute to the work of cross-functional teams to ensure that customer and user needs are being met throughout the deliverable/scope of work.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements e.g. GDPR for data privacy
- Presentation of complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues, users/customers, suppliers and partners.
- Application of creative or innovative thinking and design practises in identifying solutions that will deliver value for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
- Sharing knowledge and experience in own specialism to help others.
- Demonstrates good organisational skills giving the ability to deliver to timeframes and estimates.
- Projects within the Civil Nuclear Sector.
- Communications and Information Systems (CIS) delivery projects.

Desirable: - Projects to capture, optimisation, leaning and deploy workflows for business process.

- Experience of working with the Sellafield Ltd, Nuclear Decommissioning Agency, or similar.
- Be able to work with mínimal levels of supervision.
- Support the facilitation of collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
- Support the management of organisations, customers, suppliers, partners and peers.
- Knowledge of:

- Manual and automated testing techniques, tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Junit, Cucumber, CI/CD, SoapUI, POSTMAN).
- Intelligent Business Process Management tools, such as PEGA, Power Automate or similar.
- Technical projects including Complex data environments; systems integration; business process management; Information security; architectural frameworks.

**PROJECT BACKGROUND**

Delivery Capability (DELCAP):
The role is part of the PPP Digital Testing As a Service (TAaS) Team. DelCap is the mechanism through which project management and delivery will be transformed to enforce optimised processes. Sellafield is seeking to both improve the quality of project delivery across the enterprise and reduce the overspend that has occurred in previous years due to time and physical clashes between projects and programmes on the site.
