An exciting position within Neath Port Talbot and Singleton Service Group Quality, Safety & Risk Team - we are seeking an Admin Support Officer to assist the Quality, Safety & Risk team in undertaking a range of administrative tasks as part of an established team. This post will assist and support the team by processing information using Datix and windows based software. This role will require a body of core knowledge and skills, which underpin all activities within the job. These include good interpersonal skills, respect for confidentiality, the ability to use appropriate language and a willingness to learn. The post holder will need to maintain direct and close working relationships with the divisional managers, nursing, medical and wider MDT teams, as well as members of the public and other statutory and non-statutory organisations.

This post is managerially accountable to the Lead Nurse for Quality, Safety & Risk. The role will work with the team and is responsible for supporting the delivery of the patient safety and quality improvement strategy to create a patient safety culture that focuses on high quality care standards, preventing avoidable harm and avoidable death by using evidence best practice, lessons learned and data to identify incident themes, and areas for improvement.
