**Job Overview**:
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant specializing in energy modelling, you will lead and deliver cutting-edge projects, providing expert guidance and technical support to clients, architects, and design teams. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement energy modelling strategies, utilizing advanced software tools and industry best practices to optimize building performance and energy efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage energy modelling projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Conduct detailed energy audits and performance assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements.

Develop energy modelling strategies, utilizing software tools such as IES VE to simulate and evaluate building performance.

Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and design teams to integrate sustainable design principles and strategies into building projects.

Provide expert advice on renewable energy systems, passive design strategies, and low-carbon technologies.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and standards related to energy modelling and sustainability.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as sustainable design, environmental engineering, or building services engineering.

Extensive experience (minimum 4 years) in energy modelling, preferably within a consultancy or design environment.

Proficiency in industry-standard energy modelling software, such as IES VE or DesignBuilder.

In-depth knowledge of sustainable design principles, building physics, and HVAC systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.

Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and client engagement.

Relevant certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, or WELL Accredited Professional would be advantageous.
