**Job Purpose**:
Cadent Gas Ltd have an opportunity for a Plant Protection Supervisor to join their Energy Operations Team

The successful Supervisor will manage and lead a team, encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and productivity whilst setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve their goals. The will develop approaches to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals by setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve a safe working environment.

They should be able to proactively think ahead and plan with the ability to pre-empt team needs as they arise, and actively demonstrate and promote the Cadent Values and positively contribute to a customer-oriented approach and be able to identify and implement process improvements / best practices whilst demonstrating an inclusive work ethic.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Mange the day-to-day triage process for Plant Protection
- Be a point of escalation for complaints
- Carry out Landowner Liaison
- Provide safety and technical knowhow for complex jobs
- Provide Support for Incident Management
- Share knowledge / train employees to contribute to a cross skilled workforce
- Provide performance reporting
- Participate within the Network Operational Standby rota
- Ensure individuals comply with policy and work procedures and achieve company standards of service throughout all activities.
- Assurance of Delivery Resources through AQAD
- Responsible for delivery of work stack within the defined SLAs (AMP, Reactive, Projects, Customer Driven)

**Skills and Experience**:
Qualifications:

- HNC / SNVQ / NVQ or equivalent operational experience in network engineering techniques supported by relevant training or qualifications
- IOSH
- SCO CP & AE

Practical Experience
- Min 3-5 years overall experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of gas assets and process systems
- Knowledge of Gas Distribution’s core processes
- Understanding of risk management principles and tools
- Understanding of HSE regulations
- Understanding of Process Safety Principals
- Knowledge of Operations and SCO requirements
- Knowledge of engineering standards
