Parts Advisor

Oliver Agriculture Ltd is part of the Oliver group. Olivers are a long-standing family business with a heritage in farm machinery going back nearly 200 years. We were the first independent CLAAS dealer in 1947 and the business has gone from strength to strength with the last 8 years seeing significant growth with an expanded sales territory and 3 additional depots at Reading, Winchester and Petworth.

As a result of our expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at Petworth.

The Parts Advisor’s responsibilities will include ordering and despatching parts to support both the customer base and engineers in the workshop as well as promoting our retail shop in the local area. You will play a vital part in supporting the full line of CLAAS machinery and other key franchise equipment including Horsch, Richard Western, Abbey, Maschio, Bunning, and Samson.

If you have previous customer service experience ideally in a Parts environment, we would like to hear from you.

Ultimately, you will play a vital role in the company’s success by ensuring customers receive the very best care and service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serving customers face to face and on the phone
- Identifying and supplying parts using parts books and online systems
- Promoting the retail shop in the local area
- Stock taking and maintaining a high level of stock efficiency
- Admin related tasks

Requirements for Parts Advisor:

- Customer service experience essential
- Previous experience in a parts environment either in the agricultural or car industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Well organised
- Computer literate preferably with experience of Microsoft office

**Benefits**:

- Parts Advisor Hourly Rate: - £10 - £13.50 per hour dependent upon experience
- Holiday Entitlement - 24 days per year plus 8 bank holidays
- Pension:

- 7% employer contribution and 3% employee contribution

- Ongoing training as required

Hours:

- Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm with half an hour unpaid for lunch (basic 39 hour working week)
- Overtime available: Monday to Saturday: Time and a Half Sunday: Double Time
- Bank Holiday Monday: Double Time & a Day in Lieu
- You will be required to do some weekend working especially during our peak harvest season.
