**Welfare, Benefit and Debt Advisor(Housing)**

**Location: Newent, Gloucestershire (Field based)**

**Remote working within our Gloucestershire communities, including attending customer appointmentswith occasional working in our office based in Newent.**

**Salary: Circa £29,000 per annum plus £1450 essential car allowance**

**Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join Two Rivers Housing’s established team of Welfare, Debt and Benefit Advisors.

The successful post holder will possess a deep understanding of the benefits system and be able to deliver welfare rights advice and casework to a very high standard and have a good understanding of housing policy and practice.

You will ensure our customers receive a high-quality supportive service, working with them to achieve outcomes to enable them to maximise their income and promote financial capability, sustain their tenancy and support to promote their overall wellbeing.

You will provide a full money advice and budgetary planning service, including debt counselling and work with other partners to support our tenants.

The post holder will have the confidence and initiative to work independently and ensure compliance with Financial Conduct Authority regulation, financial and debt advice legislation and associated codes of practice. They must be calm and competent underpressure and able to manage a diverse caseload ensuring the service that is provided considers the needs of our customers.
