**About this position**

The purpose of this position is to carry out warehousing activities at the Mirfield site, ensuring efficient operation to support site manufacturing, while adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements. The warehouses operate to cGMP / cGDP regulations. This is a low volume yet highly regulated environment. Key warehouse activities include receipt of raw materials, sampling of raw materials, distribution of material to plant areas, status labelling of all materials, picking and preparation of final products for customer dispatch, and collection of waste from plant areas.

**Academic Background and Experience required**

**Essential**
- Warehouse or Operational experience (preferably in a chemical, cGMP environment or equivalently regulated environment)
- FLT qualified and proficient
- SAP (or equivalent system) and competent computer skills (in XLS and word)

**Beneficial**
- Understanding of the importance of the warehousing operation in a manufacturing environment
- Dangerous Goods handling experience,
- Experience of chemical risk assessments with regards to sampling, storage and segregation

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Warehouse Compliance Responsibilities**

Ensure correct segregation of chemicals in the warehouse according to regulations.

Maintain and contribute to warehouse procedures.

Ensure routine compliance checks are completed (e.g. sampling flow booth rates, monthly racking inspections, FLT maintenance, stock checking).

Maintain all quality compliance regulations impacting areas of the warehouse.

Other responsibilities as agreed by site management.
- **Incoming raw materials**

Unload deliveries, check incoming raw material documentation versus warehouse procedures and purchase orders. Record details of deliveries in quality system, receipting of materials to SAP system. Storage of raw materials in line with hazard compatibilities, quality and recommended storage conditions.
- **Sampling of raw materials**

Follow site procedures to sample or inspect all tested raw materials and packaging
- **Provision of raw materials for Operations**

Picking materials on a FEFO basis according to operational demand requirements, delivering materials to production areas and collecting part containers and manufactured products to return to the warehouse.
- **Final goods preparation**

Picking final products according to Supply Chain dispatch paperwork, labelling, boxing or palletising goods according to regulatory and customer instructions. (Note - some goods of dangerous goods nature. Some goods to be transported via cold chain.) Loading onto vehicles and recording dispatches leaving site.
- **Waste Collection**

Collection of waste from plant areas. Scheduling of tankers for bulk waste streams via nominated service provider, according to operational demand. Segregation of drummed waste and labelling of waste prior to collection.
