Our client is looking for an experienced ASB Specialist - Antisocial Behaviour and Community Cohesion.

The ASB & Community Cohesion Specialist - Intensive Tenancy Sustainment team will be a specialist practitioner in the provision of holistic and person-centred tenancy management services to residents at high risk of losing their tenancy and other types of harm associated with antisocial behaviour and crime, either as victims / survivors or perpetrators. This may include; people affected by gangs, drug dealing and using, tenants coming out of or at risk of going to prison, severe neighbour disputes and harassment, hate crimes and other types of serious antisocial behaviour and crime.

Working collaboratively with the Service Manager, Head of Service, other colleagues within the structure and the full range of stakeholders from across the multiagency partnership, the post-holder will take a leading role in the design, continuous development and delivery of the Intensive Tenancy Sustainment Service, in accordance with the Homes and Communities Directorate Plan and the council’s aspiration to offer the best prevention and early intervention services in the country.

Additionally, the post-holder will directly undertake complex casework with residents who meet the criteria for the service, line manage, coach and inspire staff and provide expert advice and guidance to the wider service to enable them to manage their own cases more effectively.
- Significant experience of enabling people (victim & perpetrator) at high risk of harm due to antisocial / criminal behaviour to stay safe, resolve their problems, stop offending and recover from their experiences. To include experience of using legal and enforcement options and attending court- Significant experience of working in tenancy management / ASB / social housing / homelessness services. Experience of line management and coaching / capacity building with teams, preferably obtained in a housing or support-related organisation- Strong track record in building relationships, networks and achieving results through joint working practices and collaboration- Experience of undertaking risk assessments, developing plans and making recommendations about risk and need based on the evidence- Experience of service development and supporting organisational change within a whole systems approach- Demonstrable knowledge of housing and other relevant policy and legislation, including housing supply and demand issues and welfare reform- An excellent knowledge of the network of statutory and non-statutory social and community services and how these may be utilised to support and empower vulnerable people- Able to manage and prioritise a complex workload balancing organisational and service led demands, working under pressure and quickly. Able to manage demand effectively at a service level, minimising unnecessary, wasteful demand wherever possible- Able to analyse and plan strategically to ensure the service develops to meet changing needs and requirements, including digital transformation- Able to lead and undertake co-production, service developVisit our website colbernlimited co uk for more opportunities.
