We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. About the role

The purpose of the first post is to support the assessment and diagnosis of children in the neurodevelopmental assessment team (NDT), specifically focusing on ADHD and our pilot of QB testing. As an Assistant Psychologist in the NDT for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for:

- Co-ordinating and scoring screening measures for the NDT pathway
- Delivering QB testing
- Completing school observations and phone calls with schools
- Contributing to the assessment and feedback clinics
- Contributing to the assessment reports

The purpose of the second post is to support the Kingston Cluster team with their waiting list project. As an Assistant Psychologist in the Kingston team, you will be responsible for:

- Co-ordinating and scoring screening measures for the NDT pathway
- Supporting clinicians with the choice assessment appointments
- Contributing to choice assessment reports
- Co-delivery of group work

About you

To be an Assistant Psychologist at AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:

- Putting children and young people first.
- Hold an undergraduate psychology degree (2:1 or above)
- Have experience in working with children with ASD and / or ADHD
- Have experience in working in CAMHS or other child mental health services
