We have a vacancy for a full-time permanent Team Member within our busy hygiene department maintaining high standards of cleanliness around all areas of the business. The Hygiene function covers all areas of our business, this role is required to work in the Main Bakery and Gluten Free Factory, between 12.00pm - 20.15pm, Monday to Friday.

The position reports to a Hygiene Manager and we need someone who has the ability to work efficiently by themselves. Previous experience would be useful but full training will be given. We offer good conditions of employment and rates of pay start at £11.02 (day rate)/ £13.77 (night rate).

Role Accountabilities
- Responsible for efficiently meeting all hygiene work requirements allocated to you by following operating procedures and works instructions.
- Complete accurately and store HACCP paperwork as required and within appropriate time scales.
- Prepare and operate machinery in a safe manner, reporting any issues to the appropriate person as required.
- To produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s procedures, control and maintain quality within operations.
- Contribute to the implementation of chemical handling systems.
- Maintain and improve hygiene within the workplace.
- Maintain and improve health and safety within the workplace.
- Maintain and improve environmental practice within the workplace.
- Move and handle materials in a safe and appropriate way within the workplace.
- Work as a member of a team helping to implement and carry out all company working practices and achieve team objectives.
- To carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the production process.
- Take responsibility for own development and continuous improvement.
