Vehicle Technician

Job Title: Vehicle Technician - NO Weekends

Hawkfield Recruitment Ltd is working with a Dealer group in the Solihull area who are looking to add a Vehicle Technician to their existing team.

**Are you a fully qualified Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester looking for a new opportunity?**

If yes, this really is a great opportunity to join a well-established, very busy workshop. You will be given full manufacturer training, gaining all relevant accreditations

**Salary**: If you are Level 2/3 Qualified Vehicle Technician, your starting salary will be between £26,000 - £35,000 plus bonuses.

**Duties and Responsibilities of Vehicle Technician**:

- Repairing and servicing of motor vehicles.
- Being able to work to a time schedule whilst ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Carry out all work on job card and complete write ups.
- To be confident in diagnosing faults.
- Ensuring your workspace is clean and safe.
- Carry out internal and external training as and when required.
- Be able to work to deadlines.
- Can work as part of a team.

**You should have**:

- A strong knowledge of mechanical repairs.
- Organisational ability.
- A good approach to customer service

**Qualifications / Experience required for Vehicle Technician**:

- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or Equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a workshop environment.
- MOT Licence (Class IV) NOT essential

**Hours**:

- Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm - NO WEEKENDS
