**Brief Description**:
Manage and direct the signalling power contractor to provide production, performance, assurance, technical, analytical, and data quality support to the Maintenance Engineering team.

**About the role (External)**:
**Key accountabilities**
- Manage and direct the Contractors to achieve business and functional objectives and meet key performance measures.
- Undertake reviews of design and/or construction activities. Arrange audits of contractors monitoring safety, environment and quality of design, construction, testing and commissioning and management systems is adequate.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Implement safety, asset performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Assurance of work plans to enable work is delivered safely, efficiently and compliant to standards.
- Identify and propose asset renewals.
- Manage information to update systems, databases and records.
- Discharge the relevant duties assigned to the 'CDM Contractor' (Network Rail Infrastructure Limited) in accordance with the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations.
- Identify and share best practice across the various teams.
- Prioritise and approve work arising.
- Approval of work orders complete and provide assurance that works have been completed in accordance with relevant standards
**Desirable knowledge/experience**
- Knowledge of signalling maintenance and construction management processes, systems and standards.
- IRSE Licence holder
- Planning of TS11
