Senior Care Assistant

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individual care plans for residents
- Provide personal care and support to residents in a respectful manner
- Supervise and guide junior care staff in daily tasks
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident progress
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
- Ensure the well-being and safety of residents at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of seniors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
