**Salary**

£37-44k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Chargehand** **Fitter **to join our Engineering Team at our **Walkergate **Depot in **Newcastle upon Tyne **_. _

At Stagecoach North East we operate over 400 vehicles, which connect our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at **Walkergate **is a purpose-built facility and we operate **110 **buses and coaches from there.

This is a shift-based role, with shifts consisting of an 8 on 6 off rota.

We currently have vacancy's for both day and night shifts in this role.

A PCV licence is preferred but not essential as training will be provided as required.

**Salary**: Potential to earn **£37-43k (Day) £39-44k (Night)** per year with some overtime working.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent.
