The Role

Technoset based in Rugby, Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Technician within Finishing/deburring area operating polishing machines. The focus is to support a high volume of work, ensuring parts meet the required production standards and required finishstandards.

The Technician will provide polishing and finishing to the machined parts within a thriving CNC machining operation. Working hands-on with the parts, you will ensure that the parts are finished to the required specifications including visual inspection andremoval of swarf.

The Technician will operating polishing machines including some smaller manual machines and ensure that work areas and kept clean and fit for purpose.

You will also wash, clean and package parts for preparation to be delivered to customers, using a high level of attention to detail, and exercising care to ensure they are safely packaged for transit.

The role is based on a day shift pattern working Monday to Thursday from 0600-1600hrs for Mon to Thurs, this is a four-day week with Friday as a non-working day

The Person

The Second Ops Technician will possess a deburring/polishing background including manual and machine-based finishing and be able to work to fine standards of detail, often working under magnification tools to ensure accuracy.

Visual inspection experience is essential for the role within an engineering environment and the ability to keep workstations and factory spaces clean and safe for purpose is a key part of the role.

The ability to accurately update records and work in a highly organised manner is essential for the role. Excellent training will be provided.
