**"The energy industry is a great sector to work in, with a diverse range of opportunities and a key role to play in the UK's net-zero carbon targets. Lucas, Apprentice

**What is the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship?**

You’ll be encouraged to see the links between theory and practice in the workplace, and develop knowledge, skills and behaviours progressively against the Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard.

**What salary and benefits are we offering you?**
- Starting salary of £21,819 plus excellent benefits
- 28 days’ annual leave
- Flexible benefits package
- Wellbeing, physical and mental health support services
- Outward Bound programme - team building excursion prior to starting in September
- A dedicated Early Careers Programme Lead for your scheme, as well as the support of a Line Manager and Buddy

**Training, development and support for you**:
You will have a base location at one of our operating Nuclear sites. The 4 year scheme will support you to build your knowledge in project planning, cost management of projects as well as how to deliver projects safely and to a high quality. To support this it will include rotations into different teams and departments and will also include placements based at other locations.

This will help you gain an in-depth understanding of how projects are effectively delivered as well as obtaining an understanding of the wider organisation and how the project teams interact with others to ensure successful delivery.

Following your Apprenticeship, there are so many opportunities for you to progress - the future is yours for the taking

**Where you’ll work**:
You’ll be based at either Heysham, Hartlepool, Torness or Sizewell B. Your training provider will be the University of Cumbria and this will be a fully remote course where you will spend 1 day per week completing this from your base location. You will also have the opportunity to complete rotations at different EDF locations throughout your apprenticeship.

**To join our team you’ll need**:

- 96 UCAS tariff points from Level 3 qualifications, A-Levels, BTEC Diplomas, related Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
- This role might suit you if you’ve studied any of the following; Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Maths and Science.
- ** To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.**

Our Assessment Centre will be held virtually on Wednesday the 10th of April.

**Join us. Together, we’ll help Britain achieve net zero.**
