As the Exchange Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the daily management / operation of the Exchange infrastructure and associated resources; monitoring and tracking activities, analysing issues, request fulfilment, incident management, resolution of issues and conflicts, proactive improvements, and automation within the environment, running reports and attending meetings.

Part of your mission will be to run the team as a DevOps function by increasing co-operation, decreasing silos, enabling shared responsibility, improving quality, valuing feedback, and increasing automation.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Managing the Exchange environment, the daily management / operation of the Exchange infrastructure (cloud and on-premises) and associated resources; monitoring and tracking activities, analysing issues, request fulfilment, incident management, resolution of issues and conflicts, proactive improvements and automation within the environment and running reports and attending meetings
- Managing/leading the 11 people that make up the Exchange SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team: supporting them in their operational and developmental functions, having regular 1-2-1s, developing talent, roster/holiday planning
- Creating and reviewing documentation
- Actively manage major incidents
- Planning and reviewing changes to the environment

**Your skills and experience**
- Strong Microsoft Exchange skills
- Strong leadership skills desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working on a large-scale environment
- Experience of DevOps and working in a high-pressure environment
- Confidence to work autonomously
