Remuneration: £30,000 - £33,000 + profit share bonus

The role of the Category Manager - Plumbing & Heating / KBB Products will involve:

- Category manager position, dealing with a range of plumbing, heating & KBB products for the construction industry such as: kitchens, ovens, fridges, freezers, microwaves, work tops, kitchen doors, kitchen furniture, bathroom furniture, boilers, radiators,taps, showers, pipes, sinks, baths, toilets etc
- Building a regional knowledge base, monitoring market trends and competitor analysis to develop a buying strategy to fit local demand.
- Negotiating discount terms, meeting with supplier representatives
- Ensuring the product range is correctly priced
- Maintaining stock profiles for each supplier based on branch type and demand
- Procuring displays for new and remodelled KBB showrooms
- Collaborating with a number of key stakeholders across the business on procurement and stock management strategies
- Introducing new product ranges, or changes of supplier to company stock profile, and co-ordinate stock cleanse where applicable.
- Ensuring supplier pricing guides and terms is communicated in a timely and accurate manner with branch and sales staff

The ideal applicant will be Category Manager - Plumbing & Heating / KBB Products with:

- Must have experience within the procurement market sector
- Must have knowledge of plumbing and heating or KBB products
- Must have good negotiation skills
- Experience with maintaining stock profiles
- Proactive and positive individual
- Commercially aware
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be computer literate
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
