An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Department of Ophthalmology. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for the Lincoln & Boston site. The Failsafe Officer will support the Ophthalmology service and ensure patients are managed within the guideline timescales. The post of Failsafe Officer will provide the interface between clinicians, supporting staff and patients to manage and develop the overall patient pathway to ensure that patients are seen and treated within the correct timescales in order to maintain patient safety.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. You will be required to have GCSE English Language Grade C or equivalent, Audio and Word/Text Processing skills to RSA III or have equivalent knowledge acquired through further experience. Customer Service experience is preferable and knowledge of RTT 18 week pathways and validation processes.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the new medical school, It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service
