We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who wishes to develop their experience working as an Assistant Psychologist in a Clinical Psychology Staff Wellbeing Service, based at King’s Mill Hospital, Nottinghamshire. The post is a permanent post and is contracted for 0.2 wte (1 day), to start as soon as possible.

The Assistant Psychologist will be an integral part of the team and work under supervision of the Clinical Psychologist Lead Clinical psychologist in Staff Wellbeing. We hold the development of people within our department as crucial to working in line with our service and Trust values. We will provide you with the opportunity to develop professionally within a committed and supportive Clinical Psychology Service.

The role will sit within the wider Physical Health Psychology Department, and therefore there will also be opportunity to shadow psychological assessments within 1:1 therapy and/or group settings in other physical health specialties, if appropriate. We would welcome any Psychology Graduates who have excellent interpersonal and research skills; excellent teamworking skills; a passion to learn about our Clinical Psychology profession; and be ready to join a vibrant, innovative Clinical Psychology Service.

This post is to assist the Clinical Psychologist leading the Staff Wellbeing Service. The primary focus of the post is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Service, alongside the research and design of psycho-educational resources to support staff wellbeing. There will be the opportunity to be involved in the research and development of a pathway to support staff impacted by work-based traumatic events.
