Do you have a passion for supporting cultural activity in the county and helping people? Our Libraries support the development of communities through providing information, cultural and social needs and maintaining high standards of customer service.

As a Library Assistant at the Performing Arts Library, your responsibilities will include issuing and renewing stock, handling queries from customers, coordinating inter-library loans and managing accounts systems for fines. Additionally, you'll have the chance to train and support new staff, contribute to statistical reporting, and collaborate with volunteers to enhance the overall effectiveness of our services.

Shifts will be 9:30am - 4pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 10am - 1pm on Thursdays.

We are looking for someone with at least five GCSEs, including English at grade A-C or equivalent with good use of ICT. Excellent customer service and communication skills or the ability to demonstrate you can provide them is essential, as is a love of music, drama, and books.
