Children's Support Worker- Dorking

We are looking for a passionate Children's Support Worker to join a residential setting we work closely with in Dorking. Helping to support children and young people with complex SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).

The residential home provides a calm and nurturing homely environment for children and sets out to improve the lives and well-being of all children in their care. Children with complex SEMH will have a variety of needs which can include severe Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder, Depression, or trauma-related mental health needs. Many of them will also have additional needs such as Autism/ASC.

You will be supported with online interactive training as well as being provided all necessary training and inductions when starting. You will also obtain numerous qualifications which can be used on your CV.

About you:

- Strong sense of behaviour management
- Passion to support children with challenging behaviour
- Resilient, proactive and reliable

About the role:

- Provision based near Hove
- Extensive training provided; Qualifications, safeguarding, de-escalation.
- Shift Pattern: (40 Hours per week) early and late shifts
- Sleep Ins required on occasion
- Permanent position
- Start ASAP

This is an immediate role on a full time, permanent basis.
