EQUANS is looking for an Apprentice Parking Services Assistant to join our team in Grimsby on a Fixed Term basis for 24 months. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11,710 and benefits package.
Equans is looking to recruit a confident and motivated Apprentice Parking Services Assistant to join our team in North East Lincolnshire.
The post holder will be part of the Parking Service Team, who administer the parking policies within the borough, issue of parking permits and administration of penalty charge notices.

What will you deliver?
Whilst undertaking appropriate learning and development, the postholder will become involved and contribute to the following tasks:
Process Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s). Supporting our partner North East Lincolnshire Council to progress cases to full debt recovery by enforcement agents, meeting all legislative and local deadlines
To be able to interpret legislation, the appeals framework and associated Notice Processing Policy and be able to effectively communicate this information to members of the public
Process and respond to incoming correspondence at all levels
Assist in the processing of all permits
Assist in the preparation of financial and statistical information were necessary
Deal with service requests and telephone enquiries from a variety of customers, sometimes in tense situations
Assist the Senior Notice Processing Clerk to ensure the timely update of service web-pages
Raise purchase requisitions and invoices were necessary
Liaise with the Civil Enforcement Supervisor to ensure a record is maintained of all machine faults
Assist the Senior Notice Processing Clerk in dealing with queries, and Freedom of Information Requests
Maintain records and electronic filing systems to ensure the integrity of all service related data and audit trails, and the prompt and accurate retrieval of information
Ensure that all documents are thoroughly checked prior to submission to external agencies, reporting any cases that fall short of being sufficient, to the CEO Supervisor.
Report inadequate on-street restrictions (such as defects to signs and lines) to the Traffic Regulation Officer
Provide expert advice to the partner at formal representation stage

Who are we looking for?
An interest in business support and administration
4 GCSE (Level 4+ or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work on own initiative
Experience and ability to effectively use IT including databases and Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Teams.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing.
