Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with an established and reputable business located in Grantham, who are looking for a NPI / Project Buyer to join their growing procurement and supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to move forward their career and build on their skills and experience.
The NPI/Project Buyer will be responsible for purchasing raw materials and services for the Projects, NPI and Repairs Team. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for cost saving, ensuring quality at all times and on time delivery to ensure continuity of supply.

**NPI / Project Buyer Responsibilities**:
- Highlight and monitor the quality and delivery performance, implement changes to ensure OTIF is not affected
- Manage, source and monitor subcontract projects when business demand requires it
- Conduct supplier visits, building effective supplier relationships and monitoring performance
- Negotiate by adopting a strategic approach to ensure the business’s goals are met
- Liaise with other departments across the business effectively
- Challenge current practices to provide continuous improvement mainly focusing on cost savings
- Standard purchasing administration
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- 3+ years previous experience of working within a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Packages
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Demonstratable ability to manage key stakeholders
- Proven cost saving experience to inform business decision making
