We are one of the leading food manufacturers supplying chilled and frozen food to the healthcare market. Based in Colchester, Essex, we have a new and excellent opportunity for a Boxing Supervisor to join our team.

The role will involve the day to day supervision within Boxing department reporting directly to the shift manager.

The individual must ensure the team deliver high standards are adhered to by all staff; identify any shortfalls and promptly take the appropriate corrective action.

The hours of the role will be Monday to Friday, 06:00 am to 14:30 pm. We are looking for keen applicants that have the ability to contribute and drive the business plan to exceed company targets by maximising the efficiency of equipment and motivating their team.

Whilst previous experience of managing a team in a food production environment would be desirable, comprehensive supervisor training will be given.

Flexibility is required.

Shift Time: Monday to Friday - 06.00 am to 14:40 pm

40 hours per week.

Starting rate of pay is £12.60 per hour

Applicants must have:

- The ability to work well in collaboration with all other departments
- The ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to deal with a variety of different situations requiring an immediate response
- A logical and clear thinking approach particularly when under pressure
- Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to lift weights up to 25k
