National Accounts Administrator

Our client is a leading chilled food manufacturer who are looking for a National Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic commercial team. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to expand their skills and make their mark within the fast-paced fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, specifically within the food industry. You will support the direct relationships with key retail partners, help to develop and grow the businesses together and learn about the amazing world of chilled food and its production / supply chain that delivers it.
**Key Duties**:
- Assist the NAC / SNAM in overseeing key retail accounts, contributing to the execution of effective sales strategies to bolster sales and profit growth.
- Aid in the preparation and presentation of sales forecasts and performance updates for the accounts, communicating observations clearly and taking actions.
- Support in the management of the account P&L, ensuring that cost prices are aligned to the retailers and changes implemented in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, including marketing, development, and finance, ensuring smooth operations and proficient account management.
- Engage in sales and product training, along with other professional development opportunities, enhancing industry knowledge and skills.
- Learn and develop understanding of the products, be involved with innovation development and build expertise in the categories relating to the lead account.
- Administration experience of Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Desire to develop within a sales, account support role within the FMCG sector, particularly in the food industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to nurture relationships.
- Strong numerical skills with ability to problem solve and analyse data competently.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adeptly manage multiple priorities.
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
